✧ The Description of Paradise and Its People

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ:
إِنَّهُ ذَكَرَ النَّارَ فَعَظَّمَ أَمْرَهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: يُسَاقُ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ، قَالَ: فَإِذْ جَنْدَلُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ فَوْقَهُ صَرْحٌ أَحْمَرُ وَأَخْضَرُ وَأَصْفَرُ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ نَظَرُوا إِلَى تِلْكَ النِّعْمَةِ وَاتَّكَؤُوا عَلَيْهَا وَقَالُوا: الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَذَا
Translation

✧ He mentioned the Fire and magnified its affair, then said: 'And those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups' (Q 39:73). And he mentioned something similar, saying: 'And behold, boulders of pearl, above them a palace of red, green, and yellow.' He said: 'Then they looked at that bliss and reclined upon it and said, "Praise be to Allah who guided us to this" (Q 7:43).'
