✧ The Description of the Fire and Its People, May Allah Protect Us from It

وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ، قَالَ:

سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا دَوِيًّا، فَقَالَ: يَا جِبْرِيلُ مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: أُلْقِيَ حَجَرٌ مِنْ شَفِيرِ جَهَنَّمَ مُنْذُ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا، الْآنَ اسْتَقَرَّ فِي قَعْرِهَا

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a rumbling one day and said, "O Jibril, what is this?" He said, "A stone was thrown from the edge of Hell seventy autumns ago, and now it has settled at its bottom."
