✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard about Ibn Sayyad, he went to him with some of his companions. His mother said: "He is playing with the boys." She said: "I gave birth to him one-eyed and circumcised." So he called him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I believe in Allah and His messengers." He said: "I have hidden something for you, what is it?" He said: "Dukh (smoke)." He ﷺ said: "Be off!" Then he said: "Look, what do you see?" He said: "I see a whirlwind and a throne on the water." He said: "It has been obscured from him." Umar ؓ said: "Shall I kill him, O Messenger of Allah?" He ﷺ said: "If he is the Dajjal, you will not be given power to kill him, and if he is not the Dajjal, it is not lawful to kill him."
