✧ I met Ibn Sayyad one day, and with him was a man from the Jews, and his eye had been extinguished, and it was protruding like a camel's eye. When I saw it I said: "Ibn Sayyad! I adjure you by Allah, when was your eye extinguished?" He wiped it and said: "I do not know, by the Most Merciful." I said: "You lie, you do not know while it is in your head?" The Jew claimed to me that I struck my hand on his chest, and I do not know that I did that. I said: "Be off! You will never exceed your bounds." He said: "Indeed, I will not exceed my bounds." He mentioned something I do not remember. I mentioned that to Hafsa ؓ, and she said: "Avoid this man, for we speak that the Dajjal will emerge at a fit of anger that he becomes angry."
