حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، ثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

عُقُوبَةُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بِالسَّيْفِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. And Hb b. Baqiyyah
  2. Khālid
  3. Yūnus
  4. Ḥumayd b. Hilāl
  5. Abū Burdah
  6. a man Min al-Muhājirīn
  7. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The punishment of this nation is by the sword.
