✧ (I entered the mosque of Hims, and there was a young man with people around him, with short curly hair. When he spoke, it was as if light and pearls came out of his mouth. I said: Who is this?) They said: Mu'adh b. Jabal ؓ. I heard him say: Whoever is pleased to meet Allah Almighty safely, let him come to these five prayers where the call is made for them, for they are among the ways of guidance and among what your Prophet ﷺ instituted for you. Let him not say: I have a prayer place in my house so I will pray there. If you do that, you will abandon the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ, and if you abandon the Sunnah of your Prophet, you will go astray. By the One in whose hand is my soul, I have seen us in the time of the Prophet ﷺ when none would stay away from it except a hypocrite whose hypocrisy was evident, to the point that a sick man would be supported between two men until he was placed in the row.
