✧ Umm Ayman ؓ set out as an emigrant to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Makkah to Madinah, walking, with no provisions with her, while she was fasting on a very hot day. She was seized by severe thirst until she almost died of extreme thirst. She said: 'When the sun set, I suddenly felt a flapping sound above my head. I raised my head and saw a bucket of water with a white rope. It came near me until, when it was within my reach, I took it and drank from it until I was quenched. After that, I used to fast on hot days and then walk in the sun in order to become thirsty, but I never became thirsty again.'
