✧ Abu Talhah ؓ recited Surat Bara'ah and came upon this verse: ﷻGo forth, light and heavy.﷼ He said: ﷻDo I not see my Lord calling me to go forth, young and old? Equip me.﷼ His sons said to him: ﷻYou campaigned with the Messenger of God ﷺ until he passed away, and with Abu Bakr ؓ until he died, and with Umar ؓ, so we will campaign on your behalf.﷼ He said: ﷻEquip me.﷼ So they equipped him, and he rode the sea until he died. They did not find an island to bury him in except after seven days, yet he did not change.
