✧ Abu Talhah recited Surat Bara'ah (Qur'an 9) and came upon this verse: {Go forth, light and heavy} (Qur'an 9:41). He said: "I see that my Lord is calling me to go forth, young and old. Equip me." His sons said to him: "You have gone on campaigns with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until he passed away, and with Abu Bakr until he died, and with Umar. We will campaign on your behalf." He said: "Equip me." So they equipped him, and he sailed on the sea and died. They could not find an island to bury him on until after seven days, and his body did not change.
