✧ What Distinguished Him ﷺ Above the Prophets, Peace Be Upon Them

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبَانَ، ثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - ؓ قَالَتْ:

قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَنْتَ سَيِّدُ الْعَرَبِ ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ وَلَا فَخْرَ، آدَمُ تَحْتَ لِوَائِي وَلَا فَخْرَ

Translation

  4. ʿĀʾishah

✧ I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, are you the master of the Arabs?' He ﷺ said: 'I am the master of the children of Adam, and no boast. Adam is under my banner, and no boast.'
