✧ On the virtue of remaining in the mosque

وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
« مَنْ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ أَوْ دَخَلَ مَسْجِدًا لِلصَّلَاةِ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ
Translation

✧ Whoever sits in his prayer place or enters a mosque for prayer, the angels do not cease to pray for him as long as he remains in his sitting place, so long as he does not invalidate his ablution: 'O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him.'
