قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ابْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ غَيْلَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ: حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ ؟ فَقَالَ: أَجَلْ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ نَحْوَهُ - يَعْنِي نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ عَلْقَمَةَ - وَقَالَ: خَطَّ عَلَيَّ خَطًّا، وَقَالَ: لَا تَبْرَحْ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ قَالَ لِي: لَوْ خَرَجْتَ مِنَ الْخَطِّ لَمْ آمَنْ أَنْ يَتَخَطَّفَكَ بَعْضُهُمْ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْجِنَّ تَشَاجَرُوا فِي قَتِيلٍ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ. وَقَالَ: رَأَيْتُهُمْ مُسْتَثْفِرِينَ بِثِيَابِ بَعْضٍ وَقَالَ: هُمْ جِنُّ نَصِيبِينَ سَأَلُوهُ الزَّادَ

✧ He said to Ibn Mas'ud ؓ: 'I was told that you were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night of the jinn?' He said: 'Yes.' Then he mentioned the hadith similarly - meaning similar to the hadith of 'Alqamah - and he said: 'He drew a line for me and said: "Do not leave." When he came, he said to me: "If you had gone out of the line, I would not have been safe from some of them snatching you away." And he said: "The jinn disputed about a slain person among them, and judgment was passed between them with truth." And he said: "I saw them girding themselves with some garments." And he said: "They are the jinn of Nusaybin; they asked him for provisions."

هذا حديث ليس بقوي لأنه لم يروه غير أبي فزارة عن أبي زيد وحماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد عن أبي رافع عن ابن مسعود وعلي بن زيد ليس بقوي وأبو زيد شيخ مجهول لا يعرف وعلقمة يقول لم يكن عبد الله مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن فوددت أنه كان معه قيل فإن معاوية بن سلام يحدث عن أخيه عن جده عن ابن غيلان عن ابن مسعود قال وهذا أيضا ليس بشيء ابن غيلان مجهول ولا يصح في هذا الباب شيء
