وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَنَا حُصَيْنٌ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:
إِنَّ أُبَيَّ بْنَ خَلَفٍ جَاءَ بِعَظْمٍ حَائِلٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَفَتَّهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، أَيَبْعَثُ اللهُ هَذَا بَعْدَ مَا أَرَمَّ ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: نَعَمْ، يَبْعَثُ هَذَا، ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكَ، ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكَ، ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُكَ جَهَنَّمَ، قَالَ: فَنَزَلَتِ الْآيَاتُ الَّتِي فِي آخِرِ سُورَةِ يس: أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الإِنْسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا - إِلَى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ
Translation

✧ Ubayy b. Khalaf came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a decayed bone and crumbled it before him, saying: "O Muhammad, will Allah resurrect this after it has decayed?" He ﷺ said: "Yes, He will resurrect this, then cause you to die, then bring you to life, then admit you into Hell." He (the narrator) said: So the verses at the end of Surah Ya-Sin were revealed: "Does not man see that We created him from a sperm-drop, then behold..." — to the end of the surah.
