✧ Surah Ya-Sin

وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ الصَّفَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ - ؓ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ - ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ قَرَأَ يس يُرِيدُ بِهَا وَجْهَ اللهِ تَعَالَى غُفِرَ لَهُ، وَمَنْ قَرَأَ يس فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ مَرَّةً، وَمَنْ قَرَأَ يس وَهُوَ فِي سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ جَاءَ رِضْوَانُ خَازِنُ الْجَنَّةِ بِشَرْبَةٍ مِنْ شَرَابِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَسْقِيَهُ وَهُوَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ حَتَّى يَمُوتَ رَيَّانَ، وَيُبْعَثَ رَيَّانَ

Translation

✧ Whoever recites Ya-Sin seeking thereby the Face of Allah, the Exalted, he will be forgiven. Whoever recites Ya-Sin, it is as if he recited the Qur'an twelve times. Whoever recites Ya-Sin while he is in the throes of death, Ridwan, the keeper of Paradise, will come with a drink from the drink of Paradise and give it to him while he is on his bed, so that he dies satiated and is resurrected satiated.
