✧ Yusuf (peace and blessings be upon him) was reproached for his saying: “Mention me to your master,” so Satan made him forget the remembrance of his Lord, and for his saying to his brothers: “Indeed, you are thieves.” They said: “If he steals, a brother of his stole before.” And he said: “That is so he may know that I did not betray him in secret.” Then Jibril (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: “Not even when you desired?” He said: “And I do not acquit myself” [to the end of] the verse.
