حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ حُجَيْرِ بْنِ بَيَانٍ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ:
مَا مِنْ ذِي رَحِمٍ يَأْتِي رَحِمَهُ، فَيَسْأَلُهُ مِنْ فَضْلِ مَا أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى إِيَّاهُ، فَيَبْخَلُ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا أُخْرِجَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعٌ يَتَلَمَّظُ حَتَّى يُطَوِّقَهُ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: وَلا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ». الْآيَةَ
Translation

✧ No relative comes to his kin asking him from the surplus of what Allah, Exalted is He, has given him, and he withholds it from him, except that on the Day of Resurrection a serpent will be brought out for him, hissing, until it encircles his neck. Then he recited: 'And let not those who withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty think...' the verse.
