وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، ثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْبَكَرَاتِ، عَنْ مَحْفُوظِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا لَقِيَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَسْتَفْتِيهِ عَنِ الْغَائِطِ، فَقَالَ: « لَا تَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ، وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرْهَا إِذَا اسْتَنْجَيْتَ ». قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: « اعْتَرِضْ بِحَجَرَيْنِ وَضُمَّ الثَّالِثَ

✧ A Bedouin met the Prophet ﷺ asking him about defecation, so he said: "Do not face the qiblah, nor turn your back to it when you clean yourself." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, what should I do?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Position yourself with two stones and keep the third."
