✧ “The Qur’an will appear on the Day of Resurrection, and a man who had borne it (memorized it) will be brought, and it will appear as an adversary on his behalf. He (the Prophet) said: It will say: ‘O Lord, You made me be carried by him, but he was the worst carrier: he transgressed my limits, neglected my obligations, committed acts of disobedience against me, and abandoned obedience to me.’ It will keep hurling arguments against him until it is said: ‘Your affair is up to you.’ Then it will take him by the hand and will not let him go until it throws him down on a rock in the Fire. And the righteous servant who had borne it and guarded its command will be brought, and it will appear as an adversary on his behalf. It will say: ‘O Lord, You made me be carried by him, and he was the best carrier: he guarded my limits, acted according to my obligations, avoided disobedience to me, and acted in obedience to me.’ And it will keep hurling arguments for him until it is said: ‘Your affair is up to you.’ Then it will take him by the hand and will not let him go until it clothes him in a robe of fine silk brocade, places upon him the crown of sovereignty, and gives him to drink a cup of pure wine.”
