✧ The Virtue of Remembrance

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيِّ، ثَنَا مِخْرَاقٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ يَقُولُ:
« الْمَجَالِسُ ثَلَاثَةٌ: فَمِنْهُمُ الْغَانِمُ، وَمِنْهُمُ السَّالِمُ، وَمِنْهُمُ الشَّاجِبُ، فَالْغَانِمُ عَبْدٌ ذَكَرَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ( فَذَكَرَهُ ) اللهُ تَعَالَى، وَالسَّالِمُ عَبْدٌ لَمْ ( يُمْلِ ) عَلَى كَاتِبِهِ خَيْرًا وَلَا شَرًّا، وَالشَّاجِبُ الَّذِي أَخَذَ فِي الْبَاطِلِ فَهُوَ يَسْتَجِرُّ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ
Translation

✧ The gatherings are three: among them are the profitable, among them are the safe, and among them are the harmful. The profitable is a servant who remembers Allah, Mighty and Majestic, so Allah, the Exalted, remembers him. The safe is a servant who has not dictated to his scribe any good or evil. The harmful is the one who engages in falsehood, so he brings harm upon himself.
