قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَحْوَصُ بْنُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ وَحَبِيبُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ؓ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

لَا يَدَعْ رَجُلٌ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ لِلهِ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ أَيْ يُسَبِّحَ أَلْفَ تَسْبِيحَةٍ ( فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يَعْمَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى ) فِي يَوْمِهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ، وَيَكُونُ مَا عَمِلَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ سِوَى ذَلِكَ وَافِرًا

✧ Let no man among you neglect to perform a thousand good deeds for Allah, that is, to glorify Allah a thousand times. For he will not do the like of that, if Allah, Exalted is He, wills, in his day of sins, and whatever good he does besides that will be abundant.
