حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُوسَى يَعْنِي الْجُهَنِيَّ حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَكْسِبَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ؟ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ جُلَسَائِهِ: كَيْفَ يَكْسِبُ أَحَدُنَا أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ؟ قَالَ: يُسَبِّحُ مِائَةَ تَسْبِيحَةٍ، تُكْتَبُ لَهُ أَلْفُ حَسَنَةٍ، أَوْ يُحَطُّ عَنْهُ أَلْفُ خَطِيئَةٍ

Translation

✧ Is one of you unable to earn a thousand good deeds every day? A man among his companions said: How can one of us earn a thousand good deeds? He said: He glorifies Allah with a hundred glorifications, and a thousand good deeds are written for him, or a thousand sins are removed from him.
