✧ Repentance and Seeking Forgiveness

وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَادِقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« لِلْجَنَّةِ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابٍ: سَبْعَةٌ مُغْلَقَةٌ، وَبَابٌ مَفْتُوحٌ لِلتَّوْبَةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ نَحْوِهِ

✧ “Paradise has eight gates: seven are closed, and one gate is open for repentance until the sun rises from its direction.”
