✧ The Virtue of Mixing with People

وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

« إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ الَّذِي يُخَالِطُ النَّاسَ وَيَصْبِرُ عَلَى أَذَاهُمْ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الَّذِي لَا يُخَالِطُ النَّاسَ وَلَا يَصْبِرُ عَلَى أَذَاهُمْ

Translation

✧ "The believer who mixes with people and patiently bears their harm has a greater reward than the believer who does not mix with people and does not patiently bear their harm."
