✧ The Virtue of Sustenance in One's Homeland

قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ الْمَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ؓ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

« أَرْبَعٌ مِنْ سَعَادَةِ الْمَرْءِ: أَنْ تَكُونَ زَوْجَتُهُ مُوَافِقَةً، وَأَوْلَادُهُ أَبْرَارًا، وَإِخْوَانُهُ صَالِحِينَ، وَأَنْ يَكُونَ رِزْقُهُ فِي بَلَدِهِ

Translation

✧ Four things are from a person's happiness: that his wife be compatible, his children be righteous, his brothers be upright, and his sustenance be in his own land.
