وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا حُسَامُ بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ؓ قَالَ:
( رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ مِنْ قِبَلِ بَابِ بَنِي شَيْبَةَ، حَتَّى جَاءَ إِلَى وَجْهِ الْكَعْبَةِ، فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ فَخَطَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ خَطًّا عَرْضًا، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَصَلَّى، وَالنَّاسُ يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَ الْخَطِّ وَالْكَعْبَةِ

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ enter the mosque from the gate of Banu Shaybah until he came to the front of the Kaaba. He faced the qiblah and drew a line in front of him widthwise, then said the takbir and prayed while people were circumambulating between the line and the Kaaba.
