حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الشَّامِيُّ الْعَبَّادَانِيُّ، ثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ نُوحِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنِ الْأَجْوَدِ ؟ الْأَجْوَدُ اللهُ تَعَالَى، وَأَنَا أَجْوَدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ، وَأَجْوَدُهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي رَجُلٌ عَلِمَ عِلْمًا فَنَشَرَ عِلْمَهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أُمَّةً وَحْدَهُ، وَرَجُلٌ جَاهَدَ بِنَفْسِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ

✧ Shall I inform you about the most generous? The most generous is Allah Almighty, and I am the most generous of the children of Adam, and the most generous of them after me is a man who learned knowledge and spread his knowledge; he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection as a nation alone, and a man who strove with his life in the path of Allah until he was killed.
