وَقَالَ عَبْدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: عَنْ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ:
عُرَى الْإِيمَانِ أَرْبَعٌ: وَالْإِسْلَامُ تَوَابِعُ، عُرَى الْإِيمَانِ: أَنْ تُؤْمِنَ بِاللهِ وَحْدَهُ، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ، وَمَا جَاءَ بِهِ، وَتُؤْمِنَ بِاللهِ، وَتَعْلَمَ أَنَّكَ مَبْعُوثٌ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَإِقَامَةُ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِيتَاءُ الزَّكَاةِ، وَصِيَامُ رَمَضَانَ، وَحَجُّ الْبَيْتِ، وَالْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ تَعَالَى

✧ The handles of faith are four, and Islam follows them. The handles of faith are: to believe in Allah alone, and in Muhammad and what he brought; to believe in Allah and know that you will be resurrected after death; to establish prayer; to give zakah; to fast Ramadan; to perform Hajj to the House; and to strive in the path of Allah, the Exalted.
