✧ I said: O Messenger of God, what do you think about the saying of God, Mighty and Majestic: 'Which of you is best in deed'—what does He mean by it? He said ﷺ: 'Which of you is best in intellect.' Then he said ﷺ: 'The most complete of you in intellect is the most intense of you in fear of God, and the best of you in reflecting upon what he has been commanded and forbidden, even if he is the least of you in voluntary deeds.'
