حَدَّثَنَا شَبَّابٌ هُوَ خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ، حَدَّثَنَا دُرُسْتُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ الْوَرَّاقُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

« مَا مِنْ عَبْدَيْنِ مُتَحَابَّيْنِ فِي اللهِ تَعَالَى يَسْتَقْبِلُ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ، فَيُصَافِحُهُ، وَيُصَلِّيَانِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَّا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا حَتَّى يَغْفِرَ ذُنُوبًا لَهُمَا، مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْهَا وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ

Translation

✧ "There are no two servants who love each other for the sake of Allah Almighty, and one of them meets his companion, shakes his hand, and they both invoke blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, except that they do not separate until their sins are forgiven, the past and the later."
