✧ The Virtue of One Given Daughters and Who Is Patient with Them

قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُدَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« مَنْ وُلِدَتْ لَهُ أُنْثَى فَلَمْ يَئِدْهَا وَلَمْ يُهِنْهَا وَلَمْ يُؤْثِرْ وَلَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا، أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى بِهَا الْجَنَّةَ

Translation

✧ Whoever has a daughter born to him and does not bury her alive, does not humiliate her, and does not prefer his sons over her, God Almighty will admit him to Paradise because of her.
