✧ Cauterization

وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« إِنْ يَكُنْ فِي شَيْءٍ مِمَّا تُعَالِجُونَ شِفَاءٌ، فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ، أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ، أَوْ لَدْغَةٍ مِنْ نَارٍ تُصِيبُ أَلَمًا، وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكْتَوِيَ

Translation

  5. a man Min al-Anṣār Min Banī Salimah
  6. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ If there is healing in anything with which you treat yourselves, it is in the incision of a cupper, or a drink of honey, or a cauterization with fire that causes pain, but I do not like to be cauterized.
