✧ I was sitting with Abu Hurayrah ؓ and he mentioned a story... He said: Then he began to narrate, saying: 'One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was outside while we were sitting with him, when a wolf came to him and sat on its haunches in front of him, then wagged its tail. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: This is the wolf, and this is the envoy of the wolves. What do you think? Would you give it something from your wealth? The people said: No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, we will not give it anything from our wealth. A man got up and threw a stone at it, and it turned back howling. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The wolf, and what about the wolf? Three times.'
