- وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: " حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، [ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ] بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ أَقَامَ شَاهِدَ زُورٍ عَشِيَّةً فِي إِزَارٍ يَنْكُتُ نَفْسَهُ ثُمَّ خَلَّى سَبِيلَهُ ".
