✧ Emphasizing the gravity of misappropriating spoils

قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ ؓ، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

لَا يَحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ شَيْءٌ مِنْ غَنَائِمِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قَلِيلٌ وَلَا كَثِيرٌ، خَيْطٌ وَلَا مِخْيَطٌ لِآخِذٍ، وَلَا مُعْطِي إِلَّا بِحَقٍّ.
