✧ The Prescribed Punishment for Theft

وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ - هُوَ ابْنُ خَارِجَةَ - ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ الْجُهَنِيَّ، صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ سَرَقَ فَاقْطَعُوا يَدَهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ سَرَقَ فَاقْطَعُوا رِجْلَهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ سَرَقَ فَاقْطَعُوا يَدَهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ سَرَقَ فَاقْطَعُوا رِجْلَهُ
