✧ I entered upon 'A'ishah ؓ in her chamber among women from the Ansar, and they began asking her about vessels. She said: 'O believing women, you are asking about vessels, many of which did not exist at the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Whatever drink intoxicates any of you, let her avoid it; and if the water of her beloved intoxicates her, let her avoid it. For every intoxicant is forbidden.'
