✧ Prohibition of a Woman's Slowness When Her Husband Summons Her

وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ، رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ:

« لَعَنَ اللهُ الْمُتَسَوِّفَاتِ » ؟ قِيلَ: وَمَنِ الْمُتَسَوِّفَاتِ ؟ قِيلَ: « الرَّجُلُ يَدْعُو الْمَرْأَةَ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ، فَتَقُولُ: سَوْفَ، سَوْفَ، حَتَّى تَغْلِبَ عَيْنُهُ

Translation

✧ Allah cursed the procrastinating women. It was asked: Who are the procrastinating women? He said: 'The man calls the woman to his bed, and she says: Later, later, until sleep overcomes his eyes.'
