قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُعْدُبَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللهِ:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْطَاهَا جُذَاذَ أَرْبَعِينَ وَسْقًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، وَعِشْرِينَ وَسْقًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ بِخَيْبَرَ، فَأَتَاهَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، فَقَالَ لَهَا: إِنْ شِئْتِ وَفَّيْتُهَا هَاهُنَا، وَأَتَوَفَّاهَا مِنْكِ بِخَيْبَرَ، فَقَالَتْ: حَتَّى أَسْأَلَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَكَرِهَهُ، وَقَالَ: كَيْفَ بِالضَّمَانِ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave her the harvest of forty wasqs of dates and twenty wasqs of barley in Khaybar. ʿĀṣim b. ʿAdī came to her and said: If you wish, I will pay you here and receive it from you in Khaybar. She said: Until I ask the Commander of the Believers. She mentioned that to him, and he disliked it, saying: How about the guarantee?
