قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي أَوْسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، ثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ: أَنَّهُ

لَقِيَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ، فَقَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ. ثُمَّ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّهُ رَجَعَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ الْقَوْلِ

Translation

✧ He met Ibn 'Abbas ؓ and asked him about money exchange (sarf), and he said: There is no harm in it. Then it reached him that he retracted that statement.
