- حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ - هُوَ ابْنُ السَّرِيِّ - حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ، قَالَ:
إِنَّهُ طَافَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، فَانْحَدَرَ وَسَعَى ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ، ثُمَّ وَقَفَ حَتَّى أَدْرَكَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: حَبَّذَا مَكَّةَ مِنْ وَادِي بِهَا أَهْلِي وَعُوَّادِي بِهَا أَمْشِي بِلَا هَادِي بِهَا تَرْسُخُ أَوْتَادِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: وَحَبَّذَا هِيَ
Translation

✧ He performed tawaf with the Prophet ﷺ between al-Safa and al-Marwah. He descended and Ibn Umm Maktum hastened, then stopped until the Prophet ﷺ caught up with him. He said: How beloved is Makkah, a valley where my family and visitors are; there I walk without a guide; there my tent pegs are firmly set. The Prophet ﷺ said: And how beloved it is.
