- حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُعْشُمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ؓ:
إِنَّ اللهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - اخْتَارَ الْكَلَامَ، فَاخْتَارَ الْقُرْآنَ، وَاخْتَارَ الْبِلَادَ، فَاخْتَارَ الْحَرَمَ، وَاخْتَارَ الْحَرَمَ، فَاخْتَارَ الْمَسْجِدَ، وَاخْتَارَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَاخْتَارَ مَوْضِعَ الْبَيْتِ
