✧ Ablution after Eating What Fire Has Touched and the Clarification of Its Abrogation

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، فَذَكَرَهُ، وَقَالَ فِيهِ:
رَأَيْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ خَبِيثَ النَّفْسِ، فَقُلْتُ: أَرَاكَ خَبِيثَ النَّفْسِ ؟ قَالَ: « وَمَا لِي لَا أَكُونُ خَبِيثَ النَّفْسِ وَقَدْ خَرَجْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ هَؤُلَاءِ آنِفًا وَقَدْ أَكَلُوا خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا وَصَلَّوْا وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّؤُوا

✧ I saw Anas b. Malik ؓ in a bad mood, and I said: "I see you are in a bad mood?" He said: "Why should I not be in a bad mood when I have just come from those people? They ate bread and meat, then prayed without performing ablution."
