قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ صُهْبَانَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ بَيْنَ الْبَابِ وَالرُّكْنِ، أَوْ بَيْنَ الْمَقَامِ وَالْبَابِ: رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

✧ I saw Umar b. al-Khattab ؓ performing tawaf around the House, saying between the door and the corner, or between the Station and the door, 'Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.'
