وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ وَكِيعٍ، ثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَلِيحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مَعْقِلُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ ؓ، قَالَ:

حَجَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَوَجَدَ عَائِشَةَ ؓ تَنْزِعُ ثِيَابَهَا، فَقَالَ: مَا لَكِ ؟ قَالَتْ: أُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّكَ أَحْلَلْتَ أَهْلَكَ، قَالَ ﷺ: أَجَلْ مَنْ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ بَدَنَةٌ، فَأَمَّا نَحْنُ فَلَمْ نَحِلَّ، إِنَّ مَعَنَا بُدْنًا، حَتَّى نَبْلُغَ عَرَفَاتٍ

Translation

✧ I performed Hajj with the Prophet ﷺ, and he found Aisha ؓ taking off her clothes. He said: 'What is the matter with you?' She said: 'I was informed that you made your family exit ihram.' He ﷺ said: 'Yes, for those who do not have a sacrificial animal. As for us, we have not exited ihram because we have sacrificial animals, until we reach 'Arafat.'
