✧ Sprinkling Water after Ablution

قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: مَا إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ ؟ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، « فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَذَكَرَ صِفَةَ الْوُضُوءِ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ نَضَحَ ﷺ تَحْتَ ثَوْبِهِ، فَقَالَ: هَذَا إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ
Translation

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "What is complete ablution?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent until the prayer time arrived. He called for water and described the manner of ablution, then he sprinkled water under his garment and said: "This is complete ablution."
