✧ The Dislike of Kissing for the Fasting Person and Other Matters, and What Came Regarding the Permission in That

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ:

إِنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ فَقَالَ: أُقَبِّلُ امْرَأَتِي وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ ؟ قَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ قَالَ: فَأُقَبِّلُ امْرَأَةً غَيْرَهَا ؟ قَالَ: أُفٍّ. قَالَ: وَسَأَلْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، فَقَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ

Translation

✧ A man asked Abu Hurayra ؓ: “May I kiss my wife while I am fasting?” He said: “No harm.” He said: “May I kiss a woman other than her?” He said: “Uff.” He said: “And I asked Sa'd b. Malik, and he said: ‘No harm.’”
