مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنِ الْهَجَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُنْفِقُ زَوْجَيْنِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ تَعَالَى إِلَّا وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مَعَهُمُ الرَّيَاحِينُ يَخْتَلِجُونَهُ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ: يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ، يَا مُسْلِمُ، هَذَا خَيْرٌ

Translation

✧ No Muslim spends a pair of anything in the path of Allah, the Exalted, except that the angels come with sweet basil, vying with each other at the gates of Paradise, saying: 'O servant of Allah, O Muslim, this is better.'
