✧ Burying the Martyr Where He Was Killed

قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ الطَّائِفِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُعَيَّةَ السُّوَائِيِّ قَالَ:
إِنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قُتِلَا عِنْدَ بَابِ بَنِي سَالِمٍ، فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُدْفَنَا حَيْثُ قُتِلَا، فَاحْتُمِلَا مِنْ حَيْثُ أُصِيبَا، فَوَافَقَهُمْ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ مَقْبَرَةِ بَنِي هِلَالٍ فَدُفِنَا هُنَالِكَ
Translation

✧ Two men from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ were killed at the gate of Banu Salim. This was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ordered that they be buried where they were killed. So they were carried from where they had been struck, and that coincided with the cemetery of Banu Hilal, so they were buried there.
