وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيِّ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ. وَرَوَاهُ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ وَأَبُو ضَمْرَةَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَيَّاسِ وَهُوَ بِالْيَاءِ الْمُثَنَّاةِ وَالْمُهْمَلَةِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ. وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ، وَآخَرُ فِي السُّنَنِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ؓ
Translation
✧ Abu Ya‘la narrated it from Ahmad b. Ibrahim al-Dawraqi, from Safwan. Al-Darawardi and Abu Damra narrated it from al-Harith, from Abu al-‘Ayyas—spelled with a dotted ya’ and an unpointed letter—from Sa‘id b. al-Musayyab, from ‘Ali ؓ. It has a corroborating report in the Sahih from the hadith of Abu Hurayra ؓ, and another in the Sunan from the hadith of Abu Sa‘id ؓ.

هو حديث يرويه الحارث بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ذباب واختلف عنه فرواه صفوان بن عيسى عن الحارث عن سعيد بن المسيب عن علي وخالفه أبو ضمرة فرواه عن الحارث بن عبد الرحمن عن أبي العباس عن سعيد بن المسيب عن علي ورواه محمد بن فليح عن الحارث عن أبي العباس وروى هذا الحديث عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل عن سعيد بن المسيب فأسنده عن أبي سعيد الخدري وكلاهما ضعيفان

Abū Ḍamrah contradicted him and narrated it from al-Ḥārith b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from Abū al-ʿAbbās, from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab, from ʿAlī. Muḥammad b. Fulayḥ narrated it from al-Ḥārith, from Abū al-ʿAbbās. ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. ʿAqīl also narrated this hadith from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab and traced it back through a chain to Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, and both are weak (ḍaʿīf).
