✧ Walking with the Funeral and Standing with It Until It Is Buried

وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ زَنْجَلَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمُنْعِمِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَوْدُودٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْخَرَّاطِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ؓ قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ، وَمَنْ مَشَى مَعَهَا حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ
